Class Description: This is an introduction to resin, for absolute beginners. If you’re already familiar with making fluid art and are interested in sealing your pieces with epoxy resin, then this is THE class for you. In this class we will discuss safety, when working with resin, how to properly prep your piece. You will also learn how to properly mix and apply epoxy resin to an art piece, giving it a strong and beautiful permanent finish. Students must bring a clean and dry art piece, 12"x12" or smaller, to be resined."

• Disclaimer: Working with resin is not for everyone. Some people can have serious reactions to resin. For this class we are using a low VOC (very low fume) resin, but if you are irritated by fumes of any kind, this class may not be for you. You will be provided with very basic equipment including a standard dust mask. If you would like to bring your face mask, you are welcome to do so.
