Pam Schmidt had a work life in law enforcement and retired as a Crime Scene Investigator after 28 years. During that time, Pam relied on her love of creativity to focus her energy away from her high-stress career. Learning a love of many art forms started with her parents and was given to her daughter, who is currently an Artist in Seattle.
In her art, Pam loves to re-purpose items that have been damaged or discarded and give it a new life. Some of Pam's artistic talents are in jewelry making, bookbinding and home decor. In early 2018, Pam discovered Fluid Art and has been "pouring" with full force ever since. Always researching and experimenting with new techniques, this art has consumed her studio.
In retirement, Pam has her own business as a Forensic Instructor but the teaching as spilled over into her art, especially with creating home decor, or three-dimensional pieces and incorporating fluid art with it. Pam has been married to Henry for the past 32 years and they reside on the west coast of Florida, looking to retire in a mountainous region to enjoy the change of seasons. They have one daughter, Megan who is married to Matthew and live on the west coast.
